Ranking Going Down!
Page 2

Since the start of putting contents and going online from offline state of my Joomla powered site in this 2nd SEO Contest, my ranking was predicted to going down on this less than 1month remaining seo contest.

I learn something and i think i know some factors that makes my sites loss its ranking. My sites is lossing grip on this contest. I don't know if i have a chance to have a come back and stay near at top3. This gruelling less than a month remaining in this prestigious SEO contest in the Philippines is a pain in my butt. HEHE!

One factors that makes my sites loss its ranking high in SERP is that:

  • some section of this site before has double page content: meaning i have some section has the same content. i bet this makes my sites lowered my ranking. so to fix? i just remove it.
  • i also have some not related to SEO feeds. from joomla to internet business and others makes non-sense at all. i had it turn off also.
  • the module of contest sponsors are showing on every article. i believe it's not helping on on-page optimization. since showing it all every article is like spamming the site with those keywords and for sure a deduction on my rankings.
So far this all i know to fix and wait for few days if it will improve my rankings. So whats next thing to do? I'll fix my template to be xhtml and css compliants if i don't become lazy this coming days. I hope by this end of week my on-page optmization is finish and concentrate on link building.
